Two convicted drug traffickers, Sow Siow Yin, a 33 year old Malaysian woman, and Tan Chwee Heng, 39, were executed at Changi Prison. They were arrested in a Central Narcotics Bureau drug bust in September 1998 after being caught with 139.3 g of diamorphine. Both were sentenced to death after a four day trial in April, 1999.
