Hoang Duy Nghia, 21, was sentenced to death following a one day trial by the People's Court of the southern province of Binh Duong, Vietnam. He was convicted of murdering and robbing Le Thi Thu Thuy as she was working in a rubber plantation in order to pay for a trip for himself and his girlfriend to a beach resort in the country, the Nguoi Lao Dong newspaper reported.
