In Fort Lauderdale, a Broward Circuit Court jury recommended that Russell Scott Hudson receive a death sentence for the October 2001 murder of Lance Peller, 22. Jurors voted 7-5 that Hudson, 34, should be sent to Death Row. Circuit Judge Paul Backman will formalize the sentence in the next weeks.
