In Lebanon, Lebanon County Judge Robert Eby has overturned the death sentence for Bradley Martin becouse of ineffective assistance from his lawyer during the sentencing phase of his trial almost a decade ago. Eby ruled that jurors should have been told more about Martin's history of mental health problems. Martin and girlfriend Carolyn King killed Guy Goodman, 74, in 1993. The couple has also been sentenced to life in Nevada after they pleaded guilty to kidnapping and killing Donna Martz, 59. King has also been sentenced to death for Goodman's slaying. Her case remains on appeal.
