Fatma Khatoon was married to Yusuf of Indiranagar. She was burnt alive along with her six-month-old girl on May 3, 1999. Judge A K Singh awarded the death sentence to her husband, and pronounced life imprisonment and a Rs 10,000 fine for the father-in-law.
