The convict, Tarsem Singh, in an effort to cover the deaths as an accident, set his own house on fire after killing his wife Binder Kaur, 32, and two sons Gurvinder, 10, and Parwinder, 8. During the interrogation, Singh confessed to having murdered the three in a fit of rage over a petty domestic row.
