IRAN. CONVICTED MURDERER HANGED PUBLICLY

an Iranian man convicted of murdering an elderly couple was hanged publicly in the central town of Arak, the Iran daily reported. The man, whose name and age were not given in the report, was hanged in the same neighborhood where he had burgled and murdered the couple in 2002.
