According to information received by Hengaw, Mahmoud Alishahi, 48, a livestock farm worker, tenant and father of two, and Samad Hojatpour, 51, both from Bojnord, North Khorasan Province, were executed at dawn on October 4, 2026 at Adelabad Prison in Shiraz. 

The two men had been arrested two years earlier and sentenced to death in a joint case involving drug-related offenses.

Iranian state media have not reported the executions.
