According to information received by Hengaw, at dawn on September 21, 2025 the death sentences of Mojtaba Mahdavi and the Afghan national Ahmadi (first name unknown) were carried out in Taybad Central Prison, Razavi Khorasan Province. Both were arrested on drug-related charges.
These executions have not been acknowledged by Iranian state media.
