IRAN - Najibullah Gorgij executed in Mashhad on February 3

According to HRANA, quoting Rasank News Outlet, a Baluch inmate identified as Najibullah (Mohammad-Reza) Gorgij (Gargij), a resident of Zahedan, was executed in Vakilabad prison in Mashhad. Najibullah Gargij, son of Toor Khan (with birth certificate name of Mohammad Reza) from the Shirabad district of Zahedan, has been detained in Mashhad prison since 2019 on drug-related charges. Reportedly, the execution was carried out without informing his family and without a last visitation. The executions has not been announced by judicial authorities or reported by media inside Iran.
