According to information obtained by Iran Human Rights, a man was hanged in Mashhad (Vakil Abad) Central Prison on 6 September 2026. His identity has been established as Rasoul Davari, a 53-year-old father of three.

He was arrested for killing another individual with a hunting rifle four years ago.

IHR previously reported the executions of Fatemeh Jahangard, Mohammadreza Mohammadparast and Mehrdad Mokhtari, bringing the total number of executions to four at the prison that day.

At the time of writing, only Mohammadreza Mohammadparast’s execution has been reported by domestic media or officials in Iran.
