According to information obtained by Iran Human Rights, three men were hanged in Shiraz (Adel Abad) Central Prison on 2 September 2026. Two of the men have been identified as Aziz Roshanayi from the village of Dehmord in Fars province and Yaser Momeni from Saveh.
The third man who was convicted of murder has not been identified at the time of writing.
Aziz was arrested four years ago on charges of murdering a member of his wife's family. An informed source told IHR: “The motive was rooted in a family tragedy, as Aziz believed the victim was involved in his daughter's murder. During his time in Adelabad Prison, he was held in Ward 10 and the so-called "Talash" ward, serving as a medical liaison for fellow prisoners.”
Yaser was arrested two years ago and sentenced to death on drug-related charges.

At the time of writing, their executions have not been reported by domestic media in Iran.
