IRAN - Salahedin Majidi (Dodkanlu) and Abdollah Khan Mohammadi executed in Salmas on May 6

(May 6, 2023) - Salahedin (Salahaddin) Majidi (Dodkanlu) and Abdollah Khan Mohammadi (Abdullah Khanummohammadi) executed in Salmas on May 6.
Two Kurdish prisoners were executed in Salmas Prison on 6 May. Their identities have been established as Salahedin Majidi and Abdollah Khan Mohammadi.
They were sentenced to death for drug-related charges by the Revolutionary Court.
Informed sources told IHR that they had both been on death row for around three years.
Kamel Dudkanlu, the father of Salahuddin Majidi (Dudkanlu) was also executed in this prison on January 19, 2023. At the time of writing, their executions have not been reported inside Iran
