Iraq executed Dawud Sulayman al-Dalu, a Jordanian national who was arrested in 1993 and was later sentenced to death by an Iraqi court for taking part in a plot against Iraq and its leadership. A source at the Iraqi Foreign Ministry said al- Dalu confessed to "belonging to an espionage and sabotage network (directed) against Iraq and its leadership."
