Iraqi sources said that authorities executed eight prisoners on charges of forming an opposition organization and defacing several murals depicting Iraqi President Saddam Husayn. The sources said that Muhammad Ali Naji, an engineer from Baghdad Province, was the first suspect to be charged with leading the organization and added that his body and those of three of his companions were handed to their families on October 2nd.
