Ronald Jeffery Prible Jr., 30, was convicted of capital murder in the April 24, 1999, deaths of Esteban "Steve" Herrera Jr., 29; his fiancee, Nilda Tirado, 24; Tirado's daughter, Rachel Elizabeth Cumpian, 7; Herrera's daughter, Valerie, 7; and Jade Herrera, the couple's 22-month-old daughter.
