Johnson has admitted that he crushed 6 years old Cassandra "Casey" Williamson's skull with rocks and bricks in July 2002 after she resisted his attempt to sexually attack her.
Johnson was convicted by a jury in January for murder, kidnapping and attempted rape. The jury recommended the death sentence that was imposed Monday by Judge Mark Seigel.
