Joshua Villalobos, 26, has been sentenced to death

Joshua Villalobos, 26, has been sentenced to death for the January 2004 murder of 5-year-old Ashley Molina, his girlfriend's daughter. Villalobos was convicted on March 31st for the murder of the girl. Villalobos admitted to punching Molina several times. Molina had 170 bruises on her body. Molina's mother, Linda Verdugo, 25, also pleaded guilty to one count of Child Abuse for failing to protect her daughter. Her sentencing is May 16th.
