KUWAIT: COURT UPHOLDS DEATH PENALTY AGAINST MAN IN KIDNAP, MURDER

Judge Ahmad Al-Ajeel of the Kuwaiti Court of Cassation dismissed an appeal by a Kuwaiti man for kidnapping, robbing and murdering an Egyptian man, identified as Ashraf M. On November 4, 2006, the Criminal Court sentenced Saleh to capital punishment and fined him KD 2,000.
