the Criminal Court in Kuwait city sentenced two Kuwaiti men - Ibrahim and Saleh A. - to capital punishment for the kidnap, theft and premeditated murder of an Egyptian man, identified as Ashraf M.
Case papers indicate that on March 9, 2005, the two suspects told the victim they were policemen and ordered him to get into their vehicle. The duo then drove him to a deserted area in Mina Abdullah and robbed him.
The victim then allegedly reached for his cell phone, at this point one of the men grabbed the phone from his hand and the other shot him three times at close range killing him on the spot.
