62-year-old Indian national Fazila Bee Abdul Kareem, from Chennai, was sent to the gallows by Malaysian High Court Justice Noor Azian Shaari for trafficking 2,925g ketamine when she arrived in Malaysia in 2009. Fazila testified that she came to Malaysia looking for a job and was approached by an Indian woman who asked her to check in her bag.
