the 46 lakh blood money to be paid to the family of the deceased Pakistan national by 17 Indian youths on death row in the United Arab Emirates and their families, was shown in court. The 17, 16 of whom are Punjabis, were sentenced to death by a Shariah court in January 2010 for the death of a Pakistan national Misri Khan. Khan died as a result of a group clash over bootlegging.
