MALAYSIA: MAN SENT TO GALLOWS FOR EXORCISM DEATH

Davender Singh, 49, was sentenced to death by judge Datuk Ghazali Cha in Malaysia for murdering toddler Nur Farah Adila Ridzuan as part of an exorcism ritual. Nur was strangled, had her head slammed against the wall and was thrown violently onto a thin mattress as "the spirit had refused to get out of the girl's body". She died on June 30, 2005.
