Judicial Commissioner Azman Abdullah of the Malaysian High Court sentenced unemployed man Cheong Kam Kuen, 44, to death for murdering his girlfriend.

Judicial Commissioner Azman Abdullah of the Malaysian High Court sentenced unemployed man Cheong Kam Kuen, 44, to death for murdering his girlfriend. Azman said the injuries caused Liew Pai Sea, 27, a guest relations officer, were severe, especially on her face and head, and even her neck was broken. The murder occurred at Hotel Fugisan, Jalan Imbi, between 11pm on Feb 22 and 7am on Feb 23, 2005.
