a 58-year-old Singaporean man was sentenced to death by the High Court in Malaysia for drug trafficking.
Ng Yan Sen was also sentenced to two years jail for possession of drugs.
Judicial Commissioner Samsudin Hassan found him guilty on four counts of peddling and one count of possessing drugs.
On the first count, Ng was accused of peddling 376.91gm of heroin at a house in Jalan Kempas, Taman Megah Ria, Seri Alam, here at about 7.30pm on Nov 19, 2008.
On the other three counts, he was charged with trafficking in 257.75gm of methamphetamine, 19.23gm of monoacetylmorphines and 667.16gm of ketamine at the same place, time and date.
On all four counts, he was charged under Section 39B of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952 which carries a mandatory death sentence.
The other charge was for possession of 10.70gm of nimetazepam at the same place, time and date.
The charge was under Section 12(2) of the same Act which carries a maximum sentence of five years and a fine of up to RM10,000.
