Micheal McBride, 38, white, was executed by lethal injection. McBride was convicted of killing, on 21 October 1985, James Alan Holzer and Christian Fisher, both 18 years old and white. He was the 15th person to be executed in the State during the year, No 214 since the State resumed executions in 1974. He was the 34th to be executed in the U.S. during the year and No 632 since the death penalty was re-introduced in 1976.
