Mohammad Ishaq, 36 year old betel leaf seller, was sentenced to death by a District and Sessions court in Chittagong, Bangladesh, for the murder of a neighbour following an argumant over payment of Tk 20 at Banshkhali.
The prosecution alleged that Ishaq stabbed Bacha Mia, 42, a tea stall owner, on February 19,2001. Bacha died on his way to hospital.
