Nagar Hossain Bagha, 35, was sentenced to death by a court in Barisal, Bangladesh, aftre being found guilty of killing his wife, Solema Begum, 25. It was alleged that Bagha beat Solema to death with a spade on the night of February 5, 2002 following a family quarrel.
