Netherlands Ambassador to Uganda, Matthieu Peters, said that the Dutch donors are concerned about corruption and what Uganda is still doing in the DR Congo. Peters said reports relating to Uganda's continued exploitation of the DR Congo are making the Dutch think twice about whether to continue funding projects in Uganda. He said also that the hasty execution of the two UPDF soldiers, who allegedly killed Fr. O'Toole in Karamoja in April attracted a strong backlash from the Dutch. "Netherlands did not like that," he said.
