North Korean state media denounced US based Cable News Network

North Korean state media denounced US based Cable News Network (CNN) for airing an alleged public execution of a North Korean prisoner and hinted at banning the network from future visits to North Korea.
In a commentary, the (North) Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) said, "CNN broadcast video images which severely distorted our self-reliant, fair and justifiable judicial implementation without checking out their authenticity." The KCNA was responding to footage shown the previous week that CNN claimed was smuggled out of North Korea and showed a public execution in the North.
