On 16, 17 and 18 August, Jurry Andal, Ricardo Andal, Edwin Mendoza were scheduled for execution by lethal injection, but were given a 30- day presidential reprieve. The reprieve was granted in order to allow the "Conscience Committee" and FLAG defense lawyers to analyze the results of DNA tests. President Estrada has also directed the National Bureau of Investigation to furnish FLAG lawyers with a copy of the DNA test results, which had not been made available to them previously.
