On April 13, Soud bin Khalif bin Salim from Al Kamil Wa'al Wafi in the Sharqiyah Region was sentenced to death for murdering 65-year-old Habiba bint Nasser bin Mohammed and her brother Ali bin Nasser bin Mohammed. After murdering Habiba Mohammed Salim set her house on fire, and killed Ali Mohammed by smashing his head with a stone. He was executed in the presence of the blood relatives of the murder victims.
