PAKISTAN: ATC AWARDS DEATH SENTENCE TO 3 IN ALLAMA TURABI'S MURDER CASE

Judge Anand Ram of the Special Anti-Terror Court No. 3 in Karachi, Pakistan, sentenced Muhammad Amin, Muhammad Rehman and Sultan Mehmood to death for murdering Allama Hasan Turabi and his young nephew. They were killed when a suicide bomber blew himself up outside the religious leader’s Gulshan-e-Iqbal residence on July 16, 2006.
