PAKISTAN: DEATH FOR KILLING IMPERIAL CINEMA OWNER

in Lahore, Pakistan, Additional District and Sessions Judge Shahzad Kayani sentenced brothers Ali and Nadeem Abbas to death for killing Nasim Sharif, over her ownership of the Imperial Cinema. The court awarded the pair life imprisonment, a Rs 50,000 fine each, and directed them to pay Rs 0.1 million compensation to the legal heirs of the deceased.
