PAKISTAN: DEATH SENTENCE HANDED DOWN FOR MURDER OF HAJI NAMDAR

according to a statement, Mujahid Khan was sentenced to death by the Shura Council in Pakistan and was subsequently beheaded. He was sentenced for the assassination of the former Emir of Amar Bil Maarouf Wa Nahi Munkar, Shaheed Haji Namdar. Khan was a member of Junod Ul Fida. The interrogation disclosed that Khan carried out the crime after he was offered a house in Hayatabad, Pakistan along with 100,000 Pakistani Rupees and a woman from undetermined sources. Two others remain in the custody of Amar Bil Maarouf Wa Nahi Munkar and their Shura Council is expected to hand down death sentences on both within the next four days. Haji Namdar was a highly respected Emir and well known to the Mujahideen in both Pakistan and Afghanistan.
