According to the prosecution, a fine of Rs 100,000 each was also imposed on Zulfiqar Ali, Bashir Ahmed and Muneer Ahmed. Another accused, Mohammad Aslam was acquitted on the benefit of doubt. The assailants allegedly stabbed Iqbal and Shaukat to death when they resisted during an armed robbery.
