PAKISTAN: LHC UPHOLDS DEATH SENTENCE OF TWO CONVICTS

a division bench of the Lahore High Court in Pakistan upheld the death sentence of Shahbaz and his friend Nasrullah in a murder case. According to the prosecution, Shahbaz killed his father Nazir, two sisters Shahida and Humaira, and injured other relatives on January 20, 2000, with the help of his friend Nasrullah. An Additional Session judge in Gujranwala originally sentenced the accused to death.
