Additional District and Sessions Judge Rana Masood Akhtar awarded the death sentence to a murder accused and imposed a fine of Rs500,000 on him.

Additional District and Sessions Judge Rana Masood Akhtar awarded the death sentence to a murder accused and imposed a fine of Rs500,000 on him. The Chakri Police Station registered a murder case against Malik Arshad, Malik Sohail, Malik Shahzad, Muhammad Nadeem and Bobby for their alleged involvement in the killing of Malik Pervaiz Akhtar in 2006 in Rawalpindi. The court awarded the death sentence to Malik Arshad and the other four were acquitted.
