PAKISTAN: MAN GETS DEATH PENALTY FOR MURDER

in Pakpattan, Pakistan, Additional District and Sessions Judge Sajjad Hussain Sandher awarded the death penalty and imposed a Rs 200,000 fine in a 2004 double murder case in Saddar. According to the prosecution, Gulzar Shah killed a woman, Shahnaz and her son, Naeem. The same day Gulzar also raped Bilqees, daughter of victim Shahnaz. The court also awarded a seven-year imprisonment and a fine amounting to Rs 50,000 for the rape.
