PAKISTAN: MAN SENTENCED TO DEATH FOR MURDER

in Chunian, Pakistan, Additional District and Sessions Judge Jamil Ahmad Chaudhry sentenced Muhammad Ashiq to death for murder and fined him Rs 100,000. A co-accused was sentenced to life imprisonment and two others were acquitted. The two allegedly killed their sister-in-law Samina Bibi allegedly over lose morals, in Ghallan Hathar village. They chopped up the body, stuffed it into a sack and buried it in farmland near Allahabad.
