PAKISTAN. MAN SENTENCED TO DEATH FOR MURDER

Mehrab Wali of Laspur was sentenced to death by the District and Sessions Court, in Pakistan, and issued a fine of 10,000 Rupees. The accused strangled to death a fellow villager staying at a hotel in Chitral town last year. The co- accused Niat Qabool was not convicted due to lack of substantial evidence.
