PAKISTAN: MAN SENTENCED TO DEATH IN MURDER CASE

in Sargodha, Pakistan, Additional district & sessions Judge Tamar Hayat Gondal sentenced Muhammad Akhtar to death and fined him Rs 200,000. According to the prosecution, Akhtar and two others killed Raees Ahmed, a Shahpur resident, over an old enmity in 2008. Fateh Muhammad was acquitted.
