Mirza Tahir Hussain, on death row in Pakistan for killing a taxi driver, was granted a stay of execution till October 1. Hussain, 36, had spent half his life in jail after being convicted of the murder of a taxi driver in 1988 - a crime he always maintained he did not commit. It was the third time his execution had been postponed.
