PAKISTAN. TWO PRISONERS TO BE HANGED ON FEB 7 & 13

Muhammad Ahmed Bodal was hanged in the Central Jail, in Pakistan. He had been awarded death penalty for fatally shooting fertilizer dealer Dur Muhammad on August 30, 1992. Ahmed's appeals to the High and Supreme Courts and for Presidential mercy were rejected. Another man will be executed on February 13, Malak Pir Muhammad was sentenced to death in 1999 for killing Ramzan and Siddiquan over property dispute. All his appeals have been denied.
