Saudi Arabia executed Mir Afzal Omar Shah, a Pakistani national, for drug smuggling. A Saudi Interior Ministry statement said the man was executed in the capital Riyadh after he was found guilty of smuggling an unspecified amount of heroin into the kingdom.
