Serial rapist Vincent Sanchez,33, was sentenced to death for the July 5, 2001 kidnap-slaying of Megan Barroso, a 20-year-old student. Sanchez apologized and told Ventura County Superior Court Judge Ken Riley that he deserved to die for killing one woman and raping numerous others.
