Sichuan Meishan city completed the 4-day trial of a robbery case of an "exceptionally large" criminal gang of 21 members and passed death sentences on 11 suspects, including Min Yongjun and Zeng Wenqing

Sichuan Meishan city completed the 4-day trial of a robbery case of an "exceptionally large" criminal gang of 21 members and passed death sentences on 11 suspects, including Min Yongjun and Zeng Wenqing.
Other gang members were sentenced to death with a two-year reprieve, life imprisonment, or set terms of imprisonment.
The gang was accused of committing more than 20 robberies in Chengdu, Meishan, Leshan, Zigong, since July 1999, stealing more than 500,000 yuan, 9,000 HK dollars, 5,800 US dollars, and valuables, such as wireless phones, cars and jewellery.
