Singapore's Court of Appeal dismissed the appeal by Leong Siew Chor against the death sentence received for murder. The former factory supervisor was convicted of butchering his lover, 22-year-old Chinese national Liu Hong Mei, and sentenced to death by the High Court. Liu's dismembered body parts were found along the Kallang River in June 2005.
