Six people convicted of homicide and robbery were executed at Fuyang City in east China's Zhejiang Province. Tian Yingcheng, Wu Zhijin and Wuzhiyun, all farmers of Guizhou Province, broke into the house of Lou Shouli, a wealthy farmer in Fuyang, on the night of June 20, 2001. They strangled Lou and his wife to death, killed four other members of the family, then stole a mobile phone and 70 yuan. In another case, Peng Jin'en, a farmer in Fuyang, who suspected villager Peng Lexue of taking liberties with his wife, killed Peng with a knife in the early hours of June 31, 2001. In the third case, Hong Yongqin and Chen Yuejun robbed a taxi driver of his money and valuables before killing him.
