Puntland state in northeastern Somalia on 27 March 2022 executed a government soldier accused of killing a fellow soldier.
According to a statement by Puntland’s military court, Mohamed Abdulkadir Muse (Afdheere), a member of the Puntland Maritime Police Force (PMPF) was executed by firing squad in Garowe town of Nugal region.
A military court in the state has found Afdheere guilty of deliberately killing Botan Mohamed Botan.
Afdheere was sentenced to death on 3rd February this year.
